Delia Brennen is a Brooklyn-based interior designer who specializes in complete renovations of urban living spaces. She realized her passion for design at a young age and launched her career in home design eight years ago.
Putting her stamp on a diverse range of projects – from her own real estate investments to renovations for clients who give her carte blanche to design their homes – Delia’s work currently takes her throughout the tri-state area.
To date, word-of-mouth has been the driving force in building her portfolio. Clients appreciate Delia’s comprehensive, thoughtful approach and modern, fresh style with a personal twist. “I love to do everything – from selecting tile and fixtures to adding furniture – nothing is off limits,” says Delia. “I believe that space and style are very personal – and I like to design around the way a person actually lives.”
Drawing inspiration from “almost any physical source” around her – Delia is influenced by everything from an evening spent at the ballet to a museum exhibit. “Believe it or not, I don’t use online sources as much as you might think. I have clients who will send me on-trend images from Pinterest and Instagram, but that can skew my design sense sometimes. I want to be someone who creates the trend.”
It’s this approach that has recently gained her an invitation to join Home Polish as an agency designer. A smart online platform that gives clients access to top emerging interior design talent, Home Polish aims to take the guesswork out of finding the right designer for a client’s needs – regardless of project scale.
“I’m very excited to connect with new clients via the Home Polish network,” says Delia. “I feel it will give me a platform to continue to hone my craft while providing some necessary business tools that will allow me to focus on what I’m most passionate about: designing beautiful, renovated spaces clients will feel at home in.”
